Invitation to Engineering Companies – Schools Recruitment Fair

Thursday 26th January 2023, Ayrshire College, Kilmarnock campus

Ayrshire College Engineering and Science Department is hosting a Schools Recruitment Fair at the Kilmarnock Campus in January 2023.  This is an opportunity for local businesses within the engineering sector to meet potential employees and trainees. School pupils from across North, South and East Ayrshire will be invited to attend to meet local engineering companies to discuss the opportunity of future employment.

The recruitment fair will be held on Thursday 26th January and is expected to run from 0930 through to 1500.  In addition to the invited school students, all students who attend Ayrshire College engineering courses will receive an invitation.  The event will happen in the college atrium, so there will be additional college students who may also express an interest.

Companies confirmed to attend currently include Alba Orbital, Barassie Engineering Systems, Egger, Emergency One, Forsyth of Denny, GE, QTS, WB Alloys, and XLCC.  Strathclyde University will also be in attendance to promote the Engineering Academy.
